Freedom Bible Church Leadership
Pastor Chase Fisher
Growing up with a legalistic background and graduating from Illinois Baptist College, the more Chase learned, the more he saw that the rules and expectations of people always get in the way of God’s plan of Freedom for His church and His people. “As a Pastor, I like to help the whole person, and I hope to see people find the rock of Jesus Christ. Having had bondage and continuing to learn about my legalism, I like when truth and powerful grace release a person.” Freedom and salvation can only be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
2 Corinthians 3:17b
Chase married his High School Sweetheart, Amber, on June 17th, 2005, and since, they have grown their family with 2 boys and a girl. Though life has changed significantly since starting his ministry 15 years ago, one thing always stays the same: “In many ways, [my ministry] has changed so much, but the focus on the gospel has not. I used to feel like I served alone. The goal now is leading people to build and serve with me: unity with diversity of gifts. But mostly, I’m your friendly neighborhood Pastor-man.”
Though helping people find freedom in the saving grace of Jesus is Chase’s passion, he also has a full time job outside of the church and enjoys activities like fishing, doing handyman projects, riding roller coasters, watching movies, and reading. Chase leads with participation: he sets the example. “Chase genuinely cares about people. He wants to help people thrive with freedom in all areas of their lives and teach us while he grows to become more like Jesus each day. He struggles just like us and doesn’t hide behind an image or a title. He’s a regular guy with regular problems and a deep, genuine passion for God’s people.” ~ Founding Member of Freedom Bible Church.
